Matto Bar & Pizzeria in Shanghai is a great example of masterfully crafted interior design with delicious attention to detail, the project was done by Pure Creative International in HK. We like both interior design and restaurant branding, with special mention to their simple but superior website design and great press resources! As for the food, we haven’t had the opportunity, but “Delicious!” was the word when we asked our friend, CityWeekend Shanghai‘s editor, Geoff Ng.

Nos gustan mucho tanto interiorismo como branding del restaurante, con especial mención a su simple pero hermoso y efectiva pàgina web, atención a la sección de prensa. Por lo que respecta a la comida, aún no hemos tenido la oportunidad de ir, pero “Delicious!” fue lo que nos dijo cuando le preguntamos a nuestro amigo Geoff Ng, editor de CityWeekend Shanghai.

Sweet Boutique bakery, a refined and very clean packaging and branding project by La Tortilleria from Monterrey. The work is from 2008 but feels fresh thanks to its classic lines.
“A little while ago, La Tortillería had the opportunity to work on a really “sweet” project. A gourmet style bakery that created exquisite treats with the finest ingredients and deliciously amazing flavors. For this project, we created the entire brand identity of the boutique, logo, stationery, and the packaging materials. We now have all the evidence ready and would love to share it with you. ”

The Cookie Cup is the best coffee related invention since… ever! Brilliant idea by Sardi Innovation.
“Sip the cofee then eat the cup. The cookie cup is made of pastry that is covered with a special icing sugar that works as an insulator making the cup waterproof and sweetening at the same time.
Cookie Cup have colected hundreds of Awards in Ecology, Marketing, Business Strategy and Design sectors.”

Super nice beer branding and bottle design project by Jolby for Hopworks both based in Portland.
The custom “Hopworks” lettering is amazing and the brand image super clean, very nice work!

Silent Machine is the coolest tea service set we have seen in a loooooong time, by Korean designer Eunjae Lee . Really amazing and modern pieces for this already 2000 years old serving art. We love the minimalistic design, the shapes, so beautiful! And the color and texture selection, really really nice collection!!
Some words from the designer:
“ A tea service set, Silent Machine, is composed by functional products reflecting aesthetic interpretations on function-focused forms. Every single object can be identified when it is utilized as a part of the whole. Mathematically formulated silhouettes and details contribute to creating an image of mechanical regularity rather than being emphasized on their ornamentation.”
Silent Machine es el mejor set para el servicio del té que hemos visto en muchisisíííííísimo tiempo, creado por la diseñadora Eunjae Lee. Sinceramente magnificas piezas, con un toque muy moderno para este arte milenario. Nos gusta mucho el diseño minimalista, las estilizadas formas y la selección de color y TEXTURA, muy muy guapo!

Hazel Wine Bar branding, graphic design, interior design and menu design by Barnickel Design a brand strategy and development agecncy in Brooklyin. We love the neat minimal art deco style.
“Hazel Wine Bar was an idea that two entrepreneurs had for a wine bar / café in Bushwick, Brooklyn. We worked with them to create an identity and branding that would transfer to the interior design of the cafe as a minimal art deco theme.
The identity design for Hazel had to translate into a simple neon sign, stationary system and website, while reinforcing their minimal art-deco them. We combined custom typography with art-deco borders to keep a clean, minimal aesthetic that would be balanced with a warm and inviting feel and texture in the final production.”

Absolut Vodka did it again (big time) with ABSOLUT LAKRA a collaboration with Oxaca based famous Mexican tattoo artist Dr. Lakra, brutal graphics and design, really amazing work, a piece of art and great branding! The limited edition will be aviable on September 1st (only in México?) and was inspired in the Maya culture’s iconography: Balam, the jaguar; Kukulcan, the snake; and Hurakan (aha!!! now you know!) the god of wind.
ABSOLUT MÉXICO, we fucking love it!
Absolut Vodka lo hizo de nuevo (big time) con ABSOLUT LAKRA una colaboración con el famoso artista tatuador de Oxaca Dr. Lakra, gráficos y diseño brutales, realmente un trabajo magnifico, una pieza de arte y gran branding! “ The new La Bohème presents a cozy gathering and sharing environment Entre Amis, offering an extensive wine list, delicious tapas and music.At the busy street of Galerias de Paris, La Bohème is the best place downtown to have a drink, have some tapas and listen to good music. It is the ideal place to meet friends at the end of the workday, taste a good wine or nibble tapas after hours.At La Bohème you can expect a nice music selection that suits a light lunch, a quiet afternoon or an evening meeting.It is also a nice warm up place that anticipates a long night of fun at Porto.
La Bohème is a place with strong personality. Its identity is inspired by french Art Deco visual which suggested a manually constructed and embodied unique language. All graphic and composition mood was illustrated and hand-drawn specifically for the new brand. “
