Sweet Boutique bakery, a refined and very clean packaging and branding project by La Tortilleria from Monterrey. The work is from 2008 but feels fresh thanks to its classic lines.
“A little while ago, La Tortillería had the opportunity to work on a really “sweet” project. A gourmet style bakery that created exquisite treats with the finest ingredients and deliciously amazing flavors. For this project, we created the entire brand identity of the boutique, logo, stationery, and the packaging materials. We now have all the evidence ready and would love to share it with you. ”

Very good brand redesign and repackage student project by Olivia Paden in LA for Dulce México.
Olivia tells us about it:
“ Reimagining the online retailer as they hit shelves with their candies, chamoy powders, and chocolate… while adding intuitive elements such as tequila and tamarind mix, that further embrace the very experimental nature of these classic Mexican treats. Dulce Mexico’s packaging highlights the playful, experimental eating experience of Mexican candy… for an audience that’s more “grown-up.” Through research I found that actually adding the powder-based candies to soda and alcohol was a lesser-advertised part of these nostalgic treats… so the rebrand introduces intuitive elements such as tequila and tamarind mix. The chamoy powder is packaged in a set of four, meant to share… embracing a more social experience of playing with your food.”
We really hope that Dulce México gets as excited as Olivia’s work as we are! Great job!

Inovative and very clever egg packaging project by Hungarian student Otília Eredélyi.
“My goal was to design an innovative package using a small amount of material. It’s made of
natural microwaved cardboard and consists of one piece. The eggs placed into ellipse-shaped cuts. The consumer can get the eggs by the turning of topside. “

Great branding project by Anagrama for Bermellón, a Mexican candy confectionery shop. In their own words:
“México is a country widely recognized for its spicy culinary culture. Those who know little about our country, are amazed to find out that besides spicy dishes all types of candy are also infused with these flavors.
Bermellon is a Mexican hot candy confectionery shop, whose products are very popular in the country. The company’s main objective is to claim these types of traditional treats found on Mexican streets and markets.
The brand’s greatest success consists in taking these traditional flavored products to a premium buying experience through their packaging, excellent raw materials usage and hand-crafted cooking techniques.
Our proposal reflects sophistication values that the brand promotes using an elegant typographic palette and a logotype with allusion to a family’s monogram. The selected vivid colors constantly remind us about the product’s extreme acid and spicy flavors.”
